There could be several aspects that could impact on sex drive ? It could be hormonal; chronic medication; emotional; relationship; stress; etc. It would be worth it for you and him to explore all the avenues to determine which of the different aspects are at play. I suggest you seek the assistance from a medical doctor that deals with sexual problems ? explore the contra-indication of chronic medication as well as his hormonal (testosterone) profile; and alongside that seek the help from a psychologist dealing with sexual problems. The physical and psychological aspects often influence one another and both need attention.

Different techniques could also be explored. It is often found that women tend to need longer time before they reach orgasms (compared to the average man). It might be worth exploring ways to extend the foreplay and postpone penetration until she is also fairly sexually excited.

Anti-land grab drive resumes in Munnar, 450 acres retrieved

MUNNAR (Ker): Cracking down on encroachers, Congress-led UDF government in Kerala on Monday began a fresh round of anti-land encroachment campaign in Munnar in Idukki district, retrieving about 450 acres on the first day itself.

Revenue minister Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan, who led the drive, said in Munnar that those who were trying to sabotage the mission would be sternly dealt with.

However, poor families living in small patches would be resettled but no lenience would be shown towards big encroachers who continued to hold on to the land illegally possessed by them despite government's warning to leave on their own, he said.

After retrieving swathes of land in areas like Chinnakkanal and Anayirankal catchment region, government boards were erected warning that trespassers would be prosecuted.

Chief minister Oommen Chandy last month convened an all party meet and evolved a political consensus to go ahead with the anti-encroachment drive. Two weeks' time was then given to encroachers to quit the grabbed lands on their own, which ended yesterday.

The previous LDF government had retrieved large stretches of land during its drive against encroachers in Munnar. However, the campaign ran into trouble before it was completely accomplished as local leadership of most political parties raised objections to the drive, especially pulling down their party offices in the area.

Good Morning

I''m 42 years old, had a hysterectomy some years ago, using estrofem 2mg and nuzak. Have NO sex drive whatsoever!
Is it normal? Is it the pills I''m using or is it just me?

Posted by: Sexologist | 24/6/2011
It is unlikely the medication, but at age 42 certain hormonal changes can rock the boat! General stress and other health problems can also contribute to no sex drive. Consult your doctor of phone the SASHA helpline (0860 100 262) for a referral to a specialist in this regard. SASHA
