Karthikeyan to contest for Speaker's post
Thiruvananthapuram, May 30 p Six-time Congress legislator G. Karthikeyan will be the Congress-led United Democratic Front's candidate for the Speaker's post for which election will be held June 2.The Oommen Chandy-led alliance has 72 and the Left Front led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) has 68 members in the 140-seat Kerala assembly.
