Criticising the conduct of Mr Jayarajan relatiing to the issue, the court asked him not play to the gallaries. His action going to the media on the court proceedings while it was pending, was also contempt by the High Court.
Observing that those remarks itself amounted to contempt of court, the High Court said ''we are contemplating to take suo-moto action against these statements.'' The speech made by Jayarajan against a judge of the High Court banning public meetings on roads has already been admitted by him, the Bench said.
