The Opposition had boycotted the proceedings of the assembly on February 24 protesting against the Speaker's refusal to allow an adjournment motion on charges against the chief minister and his son VA Arun Kumar.
As the UDF members left the House, the chief minister informed the Speaker that House had no other business to transact, but continued to read the written speech which contained personal allegations against Opposition leaders, Joseph said.
Though the Speaker had told the Opposition that the demand to remove the speech from records would be looked into, no action had yet been taken, he said.
